Most of us would say yes. But let's be honest for a moment and take a quick test using God's standard — the Ten Commandments.
Have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen anything — even something small? Ever used God's name carelessly? Jesus said that whoever looks with lust has already committed adultery in the heart, and that hatred is like murder in God's eyes.
If you're like the rest of us, you've just admitted to being a lying, thieving, blasphemous person at heart — and that's only four of the Ten Commandments.

Because God is good, He must punish sin — just as a good judge must punish crime. On Judgment Day, being "mostly good" won't be enough, because none of us are truly good by God's standard.
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us…"— Ephesians 2:4
Imagine standing in court with a fine you could never pay — and someone steps in and pays it for you. That's what Jesus did on the cross. He took the punishment for your sins, then rose from the dead, defeating death itself. That's why He died on the cross.
Repent — turn from your sin — and trust in Jesus Christ alone, the way you'd trust a parachute before jumping from a plane. Don't just "believe" He existed; put your whole trust in Him as your Saviour and Lord.
"He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life."— John 5:24
